The Little Things
Through puppetry and dance, physical theater and music, the company confronts the sincere and direct innocence of childhood with the often absurd struggle of adults to be role models without losing apparent dignity.
Coproduction with Teatre Principal de Palma
La Mecànica presents a bold, fresh, and energetic show where a group of adults struggles to be good role models without losing their composure, faced with the logic and direct sincerity of children.
Among objects and dance, physical theater and music, the invisible voices of the little ones appear to humorously and poetically ask us how it was that one day, adults stopped playing.
The Little Things
Through puppetry and dance, physical theater, and music, the company confronts the sincere and direct innocence of childhood with the often absurd struggle of adults to be role models without losing apparent dignity.
A mischievous, fresh, and inspiring show that questions the place of childhood and how it was that one day, adults stopped playing.
In each performance, a group of girls and boys have the opportunity to be part of this theatrical experience, rehearsing with the company, contributing their ideas, their voices, and appearing unexpectedly in some scenes of the show.

Comunity:
The participation of the youngest in the show is one of the most important points of the project, as it gives it meaning and an experience that will leave a lasting impression on both the children who participate and the spectators who enjoy it.
This experiential journey among company, theater, and community provides us as a company with an endless source of inspiration and collective development. Children are offered the opportunity to experience theater from new perspectives and share a space and quality time with a collective of creators. And finally, to the locality, we offer this project, which goes beyond simply offering a theatrical spectacle: it aims to strengthen the bonds between theater and the community.
